Early on, attention to detail was the thing that set the work apart. Clients liked it. Very little came back for revision.
Once there was a team, the same instinct turned into something else. People stopped volunteering work, because they knew it would be reworked anyway. Everything funnelled back to one person.
What changed was learning to separate the work that genuinely needs that level of care from the work that is simply good enough to ship. Not every job is worth polishing to a shine.
